In perhaps the greatest victory of his career, Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal in the 2017 Australian Open final, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, the Swiss clinching his 18th grand slam title in 3 hours and 38 minutes. To celebrate the victory, a unique set of shot profiles were created to show where Federer played each winning shot from, where each shot landed, the trajectory of the ball and the speed of each shot (the balls position is shown at every 0.6 of a second). Each of Federer’s 73 winners are colour coded according to shot type. His final winner came at 5-3 in the 5th set from a forehand cross-court that landed on the sideline.
